Hiking Trails: There are many trails in Chambers Creek. Some can be short, and others will take you a whole day to complete! It is an excellent place for hiking and biking, climbing, or just a great place to go on a pleasant walk! The trailhead starts at the Nature Center, which has bathrooms as well as free parking. From there, it’s about one mile down to where the creek becomes accessible from the road. If you follow along this first half of the hike, you’ll come across some old homesteading sites as well as remnants from when they tried mining gold here back in 1905. In addition, if you continue up past those areas, there are more beautiful waterfalls that spill into larger pools perfect for swimming or fishing.
Swimming Pools: Three different swimming pools vary in size and features! The first pool is called the Lower Pool, which can be found by following along the trail just across from the nature center. This area has a gradual incline, so it’s perfect for children or those who don’t want many climbs on stairs or rocks. It also contains an accessible walkway, picnic tables with grills, and parking nearby at Chambers Creek Regional Park. The second pool is known as Upper South Falls, which you’ll find about four miles down into this trail off of Schuster Parkway (which turns into N Stevens St). Parking for this area gives you access to two smaller but equally beautiful waterfalls. The Upper Waterfall pool has a connecting trail leading to the third and final swimming area, called North Falls. This spot contains four smaller waterfalls, with three of them having larger pools at their base, perfect for cooling down on a hot day!

You can fish either from shore or bring out your boat because of boating areas along this creek.
