Our Story
NW Maids was founded in 2013 by Ilya, a Seattle native who wanted to fix house cleaning, because he saw that most cleaning companies were getting it wrong.
We started with a handful of customers, and paid attention to what they were telling us. The same frustrations came up again and again. People were tired of cleaners who showed up late or not at all. Tired of nobody answering the phone. Tired of unclear expectations, surprise upsells, and having to sit through an in-home estimate just to get a price.
So we built the company we wished existed. We designed NW Maids around the things our customers actually wanted:
