The Kids Discovery Museum was founded in 1992 by parents who wanted to provide an affordable, educational and fun place for kids. After years of planning, moving locations several times within downtown Seattle, fundraising efforts were finally successful when the Museum opened its doors at 777 Alaskan Way S on Pier 67 back in 2003.
