Sandy River Delta is a nature preserve located 20 miles northwest of Portland. There are some great trails for hiking and biking on the property and access to fishing holes for those who love their bait. Kids will have fun exploring the wetlands and playing in the forest!

How to Get to Sandy River Delta

The Sandy River Delta is a beautiful area located in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. The easiest way to get there is by car. You can also take the bus or bike if you want to make the trip a little more adventurous!

It’s about an hour and 45 minutes from Portland, Oregon, on Interstate 84 Westbound to Mosier Exit 69.

From there, it’s about a half-hour drive to the park along Mosier Twin Tunnels Road. Be sure to follow the Sandy River Delta signs after getting off at Exit 69!

Sandy River Delta is open daily from May to October and on weekends in April and November. It is closed during the winter months due to weather conditions.

Keller Auditorium

Keller Auditorium is a performing arts center located in downtown Portland, Oregon. The venue seats between 1200 and 1400 people and hosts various events, including Broadway shows, concerts, dance performances, and more. History of Keller Auditorium

Keller Auditorium is located in downtown Portland, Oregon. It was built by local businessman Harry Mittleman and named after his wife, Evelyn Keller. The original building was a warehouse for the White Stag block of shops (located on SW Fifth Ave). In 1933, it began showing films but eventually closed down due to the Great Depression.

In 1935, the building was purchased by E.D. Etzel and Associates (an advertising agency), who then renovated it into an auditorium for performances. They also changed its name to “The Auditorium.” For many years, The Auditorium showed films and hosted various musical concerts, plays, ballets, and more.

You can reach the park by taking Highway 26 to SW Sam Jackson State Park Road in Portland, or you can take Interstate 405 South and exit at Barbur Boulevard (Highway 99E), which will turn into Capitol Highway once the on-ramp is over. Take a left onto SW Sam Jackson State Park Rd., follow the signs to the park.

The Marquam Nature Park is open from sunrise to sunset every day of the year. There is no admission fee. There is also free parking at the park.

How to Get to Oregon Contemporary

Oregon Contemporary is located in Northeast Portland. It can be easily accessed from I-84 East by taking the Fremont Bridge exit (Exit 295B). Head north on N Williams Ave for about two miles and turn left onto NE 15th Ave. The gallery will be on your right after a few blocks.

If you are coming from downtown Portland, take SW Park Ave north until it turns into Naito Parkway. Stay on the parkway and continue onto I-405 North. Take the Fremont Bridge exit (Exit 295B) and follow the directions above.

PAM – Portland Art Museum is located in downtown Portland and can easily be accessed by public transportation or car. The MAX Light Rail Red Line runs along SW Broadway and stops at the museum. Bus line 30 also has a stop right in front of the museum, as well as lines 15, 19, 20, 35, and 44. There are bike racks outside the building that can be used for free by visitors with their bikes.

Oregon Contemporary is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 06 pm, Thursday from 11 am to 09 pm, and Sunday from 12 pm to 05 pm. Admission is $12 for adults, $11 for seniors (ages 62+), and students with ID. Children 17 and younger are free. Admission is free on Thursdays after 04 pm.
